ActionOutline Lite 3.2

As previously mentioned, you should know that you have two ActionOutline versions to choose from. If you want to spend money on a powerful yet easy to use data organizer, then you can get ActionOutline Pro. If you want to keep your hard earned money in your wallet and still get a good data organizer, then you can get ActionOutline Lite. This version does not cost a thing, and basically offers the same sort of functionality the Pro version has to offer.

Since we are on the topic of functionality, what can this Green Parrots Software-application do for you? You can use ActionOutline (the Pro or Lite version) to keep all your data in order. This application allows you to store information in a hierarchical structure; you can organize your data as a tree-based diagram.

Here are the bits and pieces you can expect to get from ActionOutline Lite:
- It features a user friendly Explorer-like user interface.
- Link to local files of web files.
- Access your favorite data files using menu and keyboard shortcuts.
- At the time of writing this, ActionOutline Lite comes with built-in support for the following languages (besides English): German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Croatian, Swedish, Slovak, Greek, Czech, Russian.

Unlike the Pro version, ActionOutline does not let you share your data, collaborate with others on the network. It doesn’t let you encrypt and password protect your documents either. Furthermore, the Lite version does not let you export to external files, copy outline to clipboard as text, and limits the number of sub-items per parent item to 7.

Check out these technical details before you get ActionOutline Pro and put it to the test:
Download – the download weighs in at 1.25MB, which means it will take very little time to get ActionOutline Lite off the web and onto your computer. To my mind, it’s always nice when you don’t have to wait a long time for a download to complete.
Installation – you can install ActionOutline Lite on any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. This includes the old but popular Windows XP, the much avoided Windows Vista, and the latest and greatest, Windows 7 (32-bit as well as 64-bit editions).
Limitations – you can use ActionOutline Lite free of charge for as long as you want, so in this regard there are no limitations. We can only talk about limitations in regard to the fact that you do not get all the features included in ActionOutline Pro.
